Our ‘Prints for Charity’ project has made its latest donation, this time we raised £1600 for The Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract. Prints for Charity is a unique collection of prints created by BML designers, in their own time, as part of the agency’s internal ‘Wall o’Fame’ challenge.

Prints in the store cover a diverse subjects, from the 2014 Grand Depart to the 150th anniversary of Alice in Wonderland. They are printed to order by our fine art specialist partner in Harrogate and are available in a range of sizes from A4 to A1.

“I put forward the idea of supporting The Prince of Wales Hospice, a charity that provides palliative care and support for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families. All the team here at BML agreed that it was a very worthy cause for us to donate to.”

“The charity is one close to my heart, having had personal experience with the amazing staff and service that they provide. The Hospice offers a safe and dignified place for people at the end of their life. November 2019 marks 30 years since the Hospice first opened its doors to patients and we’re proud to contribute, if only a relatively small amount, to supporting their great work.”

We were delighted to be chosen this year as BML’s charity and to be presented with this fantastic donation. It’s a really novel way of raising funds and we want to thank the team at BML and their customers for supporting in this way, the amount raised will support running an incare bedroom for 3 days making a real difference to our patients and their families.

More worthy causes

BML are currently selecting a new charity to support and hope to raise even more money for worthy causes in the area through their design work. All prints sold in the shop are created by members of the BML team and all profits raised are donated to local charities.

The ‘Prints for Charity’ project has already raised thousands of pounds for worthy causes, including Leeds Mind, St George’s Crypt and St Gemma’s Hospice. The latest print series on the site is their Clocks of Leeds collection which is inspired by their ongoing Clocks of Leeds mini project.
