Branding & Web Design and Development
The process began with the BML Foundation™ Brand Strategy workshop which identified Sewtec’s brand values, brand personality, brand positioning and target audience. This quite literally laid the foundation for branding and web phases. The Sewtec team didn’t just want a logo, they wanted an identity that was strong and versatile to work across all mediums – digital, print, uniforms etc. The updated website and branding truly reflects what a forward-thinking organisation Sewtec Automation are. The website has been optimised for search and is completely mobile friendly. Rik, Web Developer at BML talks about his take on the website project – “The rebranding process was the backbone to the website design and development, giving the team and I a lot to work with. The new-look colours, typography and brand mark gave us a lot to play with. The end result website truly correlates with Sewtec Automation as a brand and an organisation.” Rik continues, “My main challenge was ensuring that the website complimented Sewtec’s position as a high technology company; the new site needed to be secure, smooth and dynamic with a real sense of purpose. The design team and I had a lot of fun working on this one, and the client was really receptive to our ideas. Once we had the strategic foundation in place, we were able to add some really cool features that set Sewtec apart from the competition. I’m looking forward to seeing the site grow with the company, and we already have ideas for the next iteration now that it’s up and running!” The brand and website launch coincides with their appearance at the Foodex Exhibition in Birmingham, giving them the perfect opportunity to showcase their new brand identity and what they have to offer. This is sure to give Sewtec Automation a strong platform to attract the right calibre of new enquiries and raise the profile of the company.
