The BML studio was founded on a positive code – we want our work to make a difference to the world. This permeates through everything we do, from the way we speak to our clients, to the way we treat our team and suppliers. It also translates to the way we go about our work.

Our role as a creative agency is to first understand the objectives of our clients. We then use our creative process to produce work that meets those objectives within a specific framework (the brief, brand guidelines and timescales). Since BML was founded in 2007, we have totally fine tuned our creative process. We’ve polished it to such a high degree that we can confidently say, we now know exactly how to get the best from any project.

That doesn’t mean that we always get it right first time (although we do try our best). After all, it isn’t called a creative ‘process’ for nothing. A ‘process’ involves taking a brief, discussing it, research, developing ideas, refining the best ones, presenting, taking feedback, making adjustments, reworking ideas and improving them until they deliver exactly what the brief required.

Essential feedback

Refining ideas is a natural – in fact, essential – part of any creative process. Failing to go through the refining process means that the work has either hit the nail on the head first go (the holy grail for any creative agency), or the creative team are indulging in vanity and designing for themselves instead of the client.

We always expect constructive feedback from our clients, because it is critical to our success. We want our clients to be happy with the work we produce so they will continue to use us in the future. Our business has been built on the loyalty of our customers and will continue to be so as we move forward. This means we do everything it takes to ensure their happiness. It is this mindset that led us to develop our unique Happiness Guarantee:
