During the past few years we have worked on a wide range of projects, from full marketing campaigns throughout to illustrations and animation. Whilst incredibly varied, our work always focuses on driving patient engagement, empowering staff and developing a better way of living.
Bowel Cancer Screening Campaign
A city-wide campaign to increase the response rate of historically-low bowel cancer screening tests amongst targeted areas of the Leeds population. The campaign involved full brand and message development together with a comprehensive communications strategy that targeted multiple channels, including mail drops, display advertising and promotional giveaways.
Shaping Healthier Living
Shaping Healthier Living is a partnership of seven organisations who are working together to shape the future of health and social care for people in Calderdale, led by NHS Calderdale CCG. BML developed a new brand name and identity for the initiative, including comprehensive brand guidelines and supporting communication pieces.
Inspiring Change Leeds
An innovative new brand identity for Inspiring Change Leeds – the name for a set of changes taking place over the next few years in health and care in Leeds. The changes aim to make improvements to health and care services – make care better and fairer, while helping to address the financial challenges faced by all publicly funded health and care services. BML developed the brand, website and marketing collateral including email templates to help support communications for the initiative.
Your Medicines, Your Health
A multi award-winning awareness campaign for NHS Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust, encouraging patients to bring their current medication with them to all appointments. The aim was to improve patient safety and efficiency during admission and discharge, as well as reduction of medicine waste – with unused prescription medicines costing the NHS over £300 million every year. The campaign involved a comprehensive branding process, including strategy, name generation, website design and development together with a full media and marketing campaign.
Me + My Medicines
Branding and communications work for Me + My Medicines – the name for the new Medicines Communications Charter developed by a cohort of leading pharmaceutical professionals, and led by Graham Prestwich. The campaign message is a simple one – to improve the discussion between patients and healthcare professionals in relation to their medicines. BML’s work included brand name generation, marketing strategy, copywriting, brand guidelines, website, design of all supporting communication material and print management for the campaign.
