Helping one of Yorkshire's most innovative print specialists carve out an exciting new niche in the printing market

The rapid development of digital printing technology over recent years has opened up new opportunities for Digital Tyger. Keen to reflect the innovative nature of their current practice, they approached BML for a rebrand – making use of our Foundation™ brand strategy process.

The one day Foundation™ workshop established Digital Tyger’s brand values and personality. It also identified their target audience and how best to communicate with them. These findings and research became the basis on which the design process was then built.

Identity

Digital Tyger works in collaboration with creative companies: agencies, architects and interior designers, amongst others. They produce and install cutting edge printed materials and products for commercial interiors, applying 2D designs to 3D environments.

Making use of the insights gained from the Foundation™ workshop, we set out with the aim to create a memorable new identity for Digital Tyger that better reflected their strengths and direction. The structured approach is direct, whilst the experimentation with three dimensional space lends a playfulness to the branding.

We created a suite of patterns and textures based around the components of the logo and applied them to a range of stationery and other branded items. The minimal aesthetic creates a confident and bold statement which is in-line with the company’s objective of becoming the go-to partner for
innovative, high-quality and reliable large format print and specialist services.
