The multi-award winning, North Bar are running the #NB20 campaign in celebration of the company’s 20th anniversary earlier this year. For the next 12 months, they are encouraging staff and customers from all seven North Bar venues to get involved with various fundraising activities. One money raising scheme is the NB20 Charity Tap, an initiative supported by some of the area’s leading breweries who are donating free kegs of beer to be sold in the bar, with all profits going to NB20. Customers are being advised to look out for the big arrow above the bar pointing out the charity beer of the week.

The new ‘Beer’ prints are available to buy online from the BML charity print shop in sizes ranging from A4 to A1. All prints in the BML shop are created by BML designers in their spare time as part of the studio’s ongoing ‘Wall o’Fame’ creative challenges. The challenge is based around a quarterly theme, with past subjects including everything from ‘Animals’ and ‘Colours of the Year’, to ‘Cycling’ and ‘Leeds Landmarks’.

We were really excited to see what the BML team would come up with when they told us about the challenge, but the quality of the designs has totally blown us away!

“We’ve been long-term admirers of North Bar, so we decided to contact them and see if they would be interested in collaborating with us on a new project. When they told us out about their #NB20 campaign, we were in the process of choosing a new local charity to support. It seemed a perfect opportunity to combine forces and use our charity prints to support St Gemma’s – an organisation that’s close to all our hearts.”

Natalie continued, “We thought it would be nice to let the North Bar team choose the theme for our designers to work on. Everyone was really excited when North came back and decided the new theme was going to be ‘Beer’.”

We were really excited to see what the BML team would come up with when they told us about the challenge, but the quality of the designs has totally blown us away! North Bar has a long history of great local art on the walls as well as great beer, so we can’t wait to get the prints up in some of our venues. We posted a couple of preview pictures onto our Facebook page and people have gone mad for them. It seems everyone has a favourite so we’re hoping they’ll sell really well and raise lots of money for #NB20. We’re really grateful to all of the talented designers who got on board.

The new prints are available to buy online at https://shop.bml-creative.co.uk/ and they will also be on display at a North Bar venue in the very near future. People can also join in the NB20 conversation on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #nb20.
