All prints in the BML shop are created by BML designers in their spare time and feature a new theme each quarter. Recent prints have included a range of diverse subjects, from ‘Animals’ to ‘Leeds Landmarks’. Having already raised over £1000 for local homeless charity, St George’s Crypt, this time the BML team unanimously chose to support Leeds Mind. Dave Holloway, BML’s Creative Director said, “Almost everyone I know has been touched by mental health issues in some way or another, so it’s great to be able to support the excellent work that Leeds Mind do. I hope our donation will help the continuing effort to raise awareness of mental health issues so that more can be done to help those affected.” Gemma Green, Community Fundraiser at Leeds Mind said, “We are hugely grateful to the team at BML for giving their time to create such fantastic pieces of artwork – as an independently funded charity we rely entirely on local voluntary and statutory funding to be able to run our services for people who need it most in Leeds; this contribution allows us to make a huge difference to so many people’s lives and we can’t thank you enough for your support”
Press release: BML are delighted to announce a donation of £930 to local mental health charity, Leeds Mind. The money was raised through sales from the BML print shop as part of our continuing ‘Wall o’Fame’ creative challenges.
